Man dies after he crashes into barricade, car catches fire


PETALING JAYA: A man died after his car caught fire in an accident on km32.4 of the Kesas highway at Shah Alam.

In the 2.46am incident on Sunday, the man identified as Tan Heng Wee, 32, was on his way from Kuala Lumpur to Klang when he lost control of his car.

Selangor Traffic Investigations and Enforcement Department chief Supt Azman Shari'at said the car crashed through a concrete barricade and caught fire.

"We believe the man, who lived in Port Klang, perished in the fire," he said when contacted on Sunday.
