MELAKA: Melaka will conduct an assessment before deciding whether to increase the marriageable age to 18 for female Muslims in the state, the Chief Minister announced.
Adly Zahari said at present, the marriage age in the state was fixed at 18 years for non-Muslims, and 18 and 16 for male and female Muslims respectively.
