KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has proposed its retiring president, Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, to be the interim chairman of the planned opposition coalition Gabungan Sabah.

PBS is also setting ground rules including asking Sabah Umno to abandon its presence in Barisan Nasional.
