PETALING JAYA: Malaysia needs greater transparency, fiscal accountability and socio-economic reforms, if it hopes to re-emerge as an Asian tiger, says Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

The Prime Minister in his foreword for the Mid-Term Review of the Eleventh Malaysia Plan document, said the euphoria that greeted Pakatan Harapan's success in taking over the Government after the historic 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 came with a caveat – sweeping reforms and accountability must be the order of the day.
