PUTRAJAYA: A returning officer for the Rembau parliamentary seat was granted a stay of execution of the three months’ jail imposed on him for contempt of court for coaching a witness in an election petition.
A five-man Bench of the Federal Court led by Chief Justice Richard Malanjum granted Amino Agos Suyub the stay of execution pending his appeal on his sentence.
