Saifuddin, Mujahid among five Ministers awarded Datuk Seri title

MELAKA: Five first-time Ministers, three Deputy Ministers, four Melaka executive councillors (Excos) are among the new Datuk Seri's and Datuks after their names were listed among 419 recipients of state awards in conjunction with the 80th birthday of Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob on Saturday (Oct 13).

Rural Development Minister, Rina Harun, Health Minister Dr Dzulkeply Ahmad, Entrepreneur Development Minister Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof; Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Saifuddin Nasution and Minister in Prime Minister's Department Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof and Deputy Primary Industries Minister Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin received the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka (DGSM) award, which carries the title "Datuk Seri" together with 14 other recipients.
