PETALING JAYA: Foreign Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah (pic) has denied reports that the government had engaged former defence minister Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hussein to help mend ties with Saudi Arabia.
Saifuddin said that during a courtesy call from Saudi Arabian Ambassador Mahmoud Hussien Saeed Qattan three months ago, he had explained Malaysia's stand and both had agreed that the relationship between both countries was already strong and would be strengthened further.
