500 attend funeral prayers for drowned Bomba divers

SHAH ALAM: A simple yet solemn solat jenazah (prayer for the departed) was held for the six divers of the Fire and Rescue Department (JPBM) Water Rescue Unit who drowned while on a mission to rescue a teenager.

The ceremony which was attended by some 500 family members and personnel from the Fire and Rescue Services Department, was held at the Seksyen 15 fire station here at about 8.45am Thursday (Oct 4).
