NEW YORK: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has taken to task the five powerful permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, saying they should be “shamed” into agreeing to reform their unjust veto power at the world body.

The Prime Minister said the veto power wielded by the United States, Britain, China, France and Russia was undemocratic.
