Thousands queue up for 50% discount on traffic offences while going to Matta fair

GEORGE TOWN: While holiday makers are planning for their vacation at the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) Fair in SPICE Arena, many others were there to settle their outstanding police summonses first.

The Royal Malaysia Police had set up a booth at the travel fair offering 50% discount on traffic summonses and traffic offenders were making beeline queues to pay up.
