Datuk Lau Bong Wong, founder of the Malaysian livestock and poultry giant Leong Hup International Berhad, passed away on Sept 23, 2018 at the age of 75.
Lau was a simple, hard-working, honest and down-to-earth gentleman. He led the Confucian way of life, spreading generosity by helping the poor and being active in charity work. Amid his humility, he was also a highly-respected leader in the local and international business community. Integrity was his way in business dealings.
