KOTA KINABALU: A Sabah opposition block is asking Umno to withdraw from Sabah and let state-based political parties handle the politics here.
Gabungan Sabah chairman Datuk Mohd Noor Mansoor (pic) said Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi seems to have failed to understand the "pulse and grievances" of the people by proposing to give Sabah Umno more local autonomy instead of taking the party out of the state.
