KOTA KINABALU: Two suspected informers for cross-border criminals including kidnap-for-ransom groups have been shot dead in waters off Kunak.
Both men, who were in their 50s, were believed to have been hiding in the Kg Kunak 3 water village but fled when security forces moved in during a crackdown against criminals and illegal immigrants.
