‘Maintain subsidies for essential goods’

PUTRAJAYA: The Domestic Trade and Consumerism Ministry hopes that the Budget 2019 will not revoke the subsidy on the main essential goods for the interior areas of Sabah and Sarawak.

Its minister Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (pic) said it hoped that the first Budget by the Pakatan Harapan government, scheduled to be tabled in Parliament on Nov 2, would include the interests of all consumers.
