KOTA KINABALU: A gutsy 28-year-old local woman’s screams and scuffle with a robber helped save her from being raped during break-in at her house in Sandakan.
The woman, however, suffered a slash wound to her arm and right thumb during the struggle with the armed man at about 2am, Sandakan district police chief Asst Comm Azhar Hamin said on Tuesday (Sept 18).
