KOTA KINABALU: Malaysia Day is the day for all citizens to remember the formation of the country 55 years ago, and a reminder of how far the nation has come following its independence.

Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Madius Tangau said Sept 16 is the day to also remind all Malaysians of the importance of the autonomous rights and privileges enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) that our forefathers agreed to and signed on prior to the country’s formation.
