Task force: Of 97 dubious land deals by DBKL, only 43 can go ahead


KUALA LUMPUR: The task force investigating 97 questionable land deals by Kuala Lumpur City Hall has ordered 19 to be cancelled and 15 to be renegotiated.

Twenty transactions would be subjected to further scrutiny, while the remaining 43 deals had been given the go-ahead, said Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad (pic). He said the 97 land transactions worth RM5.63bil involved 273.27ha, and not 64 or 91 parcels of land as previously reported.
