MIC and PAS make way in by-election by not contesting

KUALA LUMPUR: The decision by MIC and PAS not to contest in the Port Dickson by-election makes Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s path to the Dewan Rakyat slightly easier.

MIC president Tan Sri S.A. Vigneswaran said the party would sit out the by-election despite contesting the parliamentary seat in Negri Sembilan in the past few general elections.
