PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s touch is much needed in Malaysia’s political scene today to handle the current crisis, said former PKR vice-president Mustaffa Kamil Ayub.
With Anwar in Parliament, he said the stage is set for him to take on the role as the eighth Prime Minister only when he is needed and with the full support of current Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“Anwar is a proven political figure who is able to unify various political streams besides being able to understand the people from all walks of life.
"We fully support Anwar to contest in P132 Port Dickson to realise this wish. He also deserves to win the seat uncontested," he said in a statement.
