Asyraf: Umno-PAS ties more than just a 'marriage of convenience'

KUALA TERENGGANU: Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki has hit out against critics who see the closer relations between the party and its traditional rival PAS as nothing more than a convenient bond.

"In the past, we've stood together over issues which we share a common interest, particularly those concerning Muslim communities such as the plight of the Rohingyas and the conflict in Palestine.
