PETALING JAYA: A high-powered ministerial committee should be set up to fight the nation’s persistent drug problem, says Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.

“The time has come for the government to undertake a drastic review of existing strategies and methods to deal with the problem, which has only shown a slight improvement despite various measures introduced to address it,” the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) senior vice-chairman said in a statement.
