SIBU: An elderly man is lucky to be alive after being shot at by his friend, who mistook him for a monkey during a hunting outing in Kapit.
Kapit OCPD, Dep Supt Freddy Bian said on Saturday (Sept 8) that the 60-year old victim had been warded at the Kapit Hospital for injuries on his back, left elbow and left thigh sustained from being hit by shotgun pellets.
