‘Thomas not involved in withdrawal of corruption charges against Lim and Phang’


KUALA LUMPUR: Attorney General Tommy Thomas did not play any part in withdrawing the corruption charges against Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and a businesswoman, resulting in the two freed of the charges.

The head of the appellate and trial division at the AG’s Chambers, DPP Datuk Mohamad Hanafiah Zakaria (pic), made the decision to withdraw the charges.
