KUALA LUMPUR: Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad (pic) has dismissed accusations by Umno that the Pakatan Harapan-led government wants to abolish constitutional monarchy and turn Malaysia into a republic.
He was referring to a gathering called “Himpunan Bangkit” at Kampung Gajah, Perak, on Saturday. The event was allegedly aimed at defending the Malays and Islam.
