GEORGE TOWN: Tensions ran high between several fishermen and fish farm operators during a working visit by Deputy Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Sim Tze Tzin to a fish farm off Pulau Jerejak.

Sungai Udang Fish Farm Association chairman Tioh Tiang Lai alleged that fishermen in the area had been using modified hooks to tear nets and steal fish from farms.
