Divers use Merdeka to raise awareness

Patriotic outing: Divers of Scuba Junkie in Sabah’s popular diving waters off Semporna on Merdeka Day.

KOTA KINABALU: A group of divers literally took the plunge to send out a message about conservation by replanting corals at popular diving spots in Sabah waters on Merdeka Day.

The group from award-winning dive operator Scuba Junkie also marked Merdeka Day in waters off the state capital as they drove home the need for greater marine conservation awareness.
