High Court dismisses bid by ex-Negri MB to strike out election petition

SEREMBAN: The High Court here has dismissed an application by former Negri Sembilan mentri besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan to strike out an election petition filed by PKR member Dr S. Streram to nullify his election as Rantau assemblyman in the recent 14th General Election, reports Sinar Harian.

Dr Streram filed the petition on May 23 after he was barred from entering the nomination centre at Dewan Seri Rembau to file his candidacy papers on April 28.
