Wee wants Customs to clarify if infant food and wooden caskets are exempt from Sales Tax

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) wants the Customs Department to confirm if infant food and wooden caskets are exempted from the Sales Tax regime that will be reintroduced on Sep 1.

The MCA deputy president had thanked Customs DG Datuk Seri T. Subromaniam for clarifying that wooden caskets and baby foods are exempted from sales tax as they have uploaded a revised list of items taxable under the new SST regime.
