Make it mandatory for private sector to hire disabled, says Perak exco

IPOH: Perak Human Resources Committee chairman A. Sivanesan has called on the Federal government to review and amend the Employment Act to make it mandatory for the private sector to employ persons with disability.

He said the government could add in a provision in the Act so that the disabled could be given opportunities for employment.
