TV3, Mazlan Ismail agree to apologise to Anwar in defamation suit

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has fixed next Wednesday (Aug 29) for the parties in the suit by PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim against Dr Mazlan Ismail, Sistem Televisyen Malaysia Bhd (TV3) and Utusan Melayu to record a possible settlement of the case.

Anwar filed the suit against Dr Mazlan, who was the Barisan Nasional candidate for Permatang Pauh constituency in the 2013 general election, TV3 and Utusan Melayu for implying that he had bribed the judiciary and the Attorney General’s Chambers.
