Khalid Samad: High cost of ECRL justifies its cancellation

SHAH ALAM (Bernama): The Government's decision to cancel the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project is justified as the cost involved is too high and is a lopsided deal, says Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad.

He said the Government made the cancellation after discussions with all parties to safeguard the interests of the country.
