PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission has warned candidates and parties contesting in the Balakong and Seri Setia state by-elections to stick to the rules or face action, says Election Commission member Datuk Md Yusop Mansor.

“If any party is found to have broken the law and regulations during the official campaign period, the EC wants reports or complaints lodged immediately with the authorities such as the police, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission so that further action can be taken,” he said in a media statement issued yesterday.
