PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's decision to cancel the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project bodes ill for future relations with China as it involves the One Belt, One Road initiative, says MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic).

Wee, who is also Ayer Hitam MP, said the benefits of the ECRL project should not simply be measured from the revenues collected by the Government, easing of traffic and increasing goods volume, but also other factors such as the economic benefits it would will bring.
