IPOH: Swiftlet nest thefts, which result in the killing of the birds, will cause a huge economic loss to the country, says an association of bird’s nest farmers.
Swiftlet Farms Entrepreneurs’ Association Malaysia deputy president V.K. Lim said the thieves threw the birds as well as hatchlings and eggs to the ground when stealing the nests.
