IPOH: Three men were killed when the four-wheel drive vehicle they were in crashed into the back of a lorry along the North-South Expressway near the Simpang Pulai toll here.

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said all three men died on the spot, following the 4.20am incident Sunday.

He said the impact of the crash sent all three men to be tossed out from the car.

“The driver of the lorry, which was carrying newspapers, was also injured,” he said.

The bodies of the victims have been sent to the Kampar Hospital mortuary.
