GEORGE TOWN: The state government says entertainment licences are issued by the local authorities only after police vetting.
State Housing, Town, Country Planning and Local Government Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said there was no need to impose a blanket ban on the issuing of licences to family entertainment outlets in the state just because of a few bad apples.
