Johor to find alternative site for proposed landfill at Bukit Payong

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Federal Government has ordered work on the proposed Bukit Payong sanitary landfill in Batu Pahat to be postponed, as the Johor state government starts looking for alternative sites.

Johor Local Housing, Science and Technology Committee chairman Tan Hong Pin said the decision was made after a meeting with Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin.
