Taekwondo exponent gets discharge in assault case


PETALING JAYA: National taekwondo exponent Nur Dhia Liyana Shaharuddin was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal by a magistrate’s court here for allegedly causing hurt to a security guard.

Magistrate Nurshahirah Abd Salim made the order after the prosecution accepted the letter of representation to drop the charge against the accused.
