GEORGE TOWN: Popular recreational area Mengkuang Dam will not be open to the public anytime soon as it is still undergoing expansion and repair works which were supposed to be completed in April last year.
Zairil Khir Johari (DAP-Tanjong Bungah) said the delay on the handover of the Mengkuang Dam to the state government is due to its "imperfect" condition.
