JOHOR BARU: In a desperate attempt to escape the law, a suspected car thief dragged a police personnel for several meters during a sting operation held at a multi-storey parking lot of an apartment near Taman Mount Austin here.
Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Shahurinain Jais said the incident happened while a police team was conducting surveillance on a Honda Civic on Tuesday (Aug 7) as part of a sting operation on stolen vehicles.
