Court sets Aug 29 to decide Mohamad Hasan’s bid to strike out election petition for Rantau seat


SEREMBAN: The Election Court will on Aug 29 decide an application by former Negri Sembilan mentri besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan to strike out an election petition filed by PKR member Dr S. Streram to nullify his election as Rantau assemblyman in the recent general election.

Dr Streram had filed the petition on May 23 after he was barred from entering the nomination centre at Dewan Seri Rembau to file his candidacy papers on April 28.
