Muhyiddin can leave Singapore hospital now

PETALING JAYA: With the completion of his operation and treatment, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin can leave the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. 

In a statement by the Home Ministry which was shared on Muhyiddin’s official Facebook page, his press secretary Hafiz Abdul Halim shared that the Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president will be resting for a while with his family. 

Hafiz also thanked all the doctors, nurses and staff of the medical institution on Orchard Road. 

"Thank you also to all those who prayed for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s health while he was there, as well as those who took the time to visit him,” he added on Tuesday (Aug 7)

Muhyiddin was recovering in the island republic after undergoing operation to extract a pancreatic tumour, which was detected at an early stage.
