Put sexual harassment victims' welfare first, NGOs tell Health Ministry

PETALING JAYA: The Health Ministry needs to place the interest of victims at the centre of its investigation on the alleged sexual harassment and abuses of housemen by the department the head of an orthopaedics department at a hospital in the Klang Valley.

The call was made by Joint Action Group for Gender Equality (JAG), which is made up of several NGOs including All Women’s Action Society (AWAM), Persatuan Kesedaran Komuniti Selangor (EMPOWER), Sisters in Islam, and Tenaganita.
