Khazanah boss Azman Mokhtar pens letter to staff saying goodbye


PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar has penned a farewell note following his resignation from Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

The former managing director of the sovereign wealth fund resigned after 14 years and two months at helm, saying that he had a good run.

He also addressed two controversies that such Khazanah's RM80mil losses in an online lingerie venture and the loss of its RM1.7bil stake in UBS, an investment bank.

On July 26, Khazanah's entire board of directors, including Azman, resigned en bloc.
