KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah wants Sarawak PKR information chief Vernon Kedit to withdraw his allegedly libellous statement related to native customary rights (NCR) land or face legal action.

In a letter of demand sent to Vernon on Monday (July 30), Uggah said Vernon had called him a liar and traitor to the Dayak community in his statement on the Land Code (Amendment) Bill passed earlier this month in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly.
