Perak government lodges corruption report against former career centre consultant

IPOH: The Perak state government has lodged a corruption report against a former career centre consultant who ran its state-owned agency for not paying the staff Employee Provident Fund contributions, the telephone bill and shop rental.

Perak Youth Development Committee chairman Howard Lee Chuan How said the report was made by Amanjaya Career Centre (Pusat Kerjaya Amanjaya or PeKA) board director Datuk Zainol Fadzi Paharudin at the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office on Wednesday (Aug 1) after the completion of an internal audit.
