China genuinely cherishes long-term friendship with Malaysia, says it's Foreign Minister

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi calls on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at the PM's office in Putrajaya on Aug 1.

KUALA LUMPUR: China attaches high importance to its relationship with Malaysia and with Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, said its Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

“Prime Minister Mahathir is a good friend of the Chinese people and such friendship goes back a long way. He has amicable feelings towards China because he understands and values China.
