KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (pic) believes that her post as Pakatan Harapan's president will be retained.
This will enable her to remain as the Deputy Prime Minister.
Dr Wan Azizah, who is also PKR president, has yet to state her intention to contest in the party elections.
"It's okay, because my post in Pakatan Harapan still exists," she told reporters at the Parliament lobby on Tuesday (July 24).
She said this when asked to comment about her post in the party if she decides not to contest.
Asked if she would take on the post of the PKR de facto leader, which is currently held by her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Dr Wan Azizah said it was not discussed.
"We have not had a discussion. We will announce whether we will retain the post because it is not in the party's structure," she said.
On whether the issue will be discussed by a way of a motion raised in the party congress in November, she said "not yet".
