KOTA BARU: State Opposition leader Datuk Md Alwi Che Ahmad (BN-Kok Lanas) wants PAS to gauge Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's stand on the Private Members' Bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (RUU355).
Md Alwi said it was time to test Dr Mahathir's stand, whom he claimed during his tenure as fourth prime minister had warned against implementation of Kelantan's Syariah Criminal Code (II) Enactment 1993.
