PETALING JAYA: Road work areas need more safety measures, said National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Niosh) chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
Commenting on the accident involving the death of Balakong assemblyman Eddie Ng on Friday, Lee believed the tragedy could have been avoided if the contractor involved with the road works had taken all the necessary safety measures at the work site.
